It’s A New Day

This sermon reminds us that God is always at work, bringing newness into our lives. Drawing from Isaiah 43:18-19, it encourages us to let go of past burdens, embrace the fresh outpouring of God's mercies, and perceive the new things He is doing. The message highlights the importance of faith, vision, and standing firm in God’s promises. .

Sermon Notes
Out with the Old, In with the New

Isaiah 43:18-19 tells us, “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!” This verse is a powerful reminder that God is calling us into a fresh season. Too often, we allow our past—whether good or bad—to dictate our future. But God’s mercies are new every morning. His plans for us are not limited by what happened before.

Embracing the New Thing God is Doing

Lamentations 3:22-25 reassures us that God's mercies aren’t like a subscription that expires at midnight. They’re new every morning—layering on top of yesterday’s grace. That means, no matter what happened last year, today’s mercies are ready and waiting. God isn’t resetting to zero; He’s building upon what He’s already done!

Perceive the New Thing!

The greatest challenge is not whether God is doing something new—it’s whether we can perceive it. Vision is key. Without spiritual vision, we risk missing the fresh move of God. Just as I need my glasses to see clearly in the natural, we need spiritual clarity to discern what God is doing.

Abundance Will Spring Up

The Bible describes God’s work as something that will “spring up”—a picture of life bursting forth. God is the one who makes a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. No matter how barren or dry your situation seems, He can bring new life, restoration, and abundance.

A Year of Vision and Declaration

Revelation 21:5 reminds us, “He who sits on the throne says, ‘I am making all things new.’” God is writing a new story over your life. 2025 is not just another year—it is a prophetic moment. We must stand firm, believe in His promises, and declare His abundance over our families, work, and ministries.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, we thank You for this new day, this new year, and the new work You are doing in our lives. Help us to forget the past and embrace the future with faith and expectation. Open our spiritual eyes to perceive Your promises. Let this year be one of joy, breakthrough, and supernatural abundance. We trust You, Lord, and declare Your goodness over our lives.

In Jesus' name,
Amen.
