Devotion
The song “New Era” was written in response to a prophetic word over Planetshakers Church that we weren’t only heading into a new season in 2015, but that we were about to step into a new era. The image of a completely new beginning is an appealing one, as many of us can relate to the desire to start afresh with a clean slate.
Partnering with God is the best way to start afresh - the Bible shows us that He is always speaking about doing something new and unprecedented in our lives! He wants nothing more than to wash away the old and usher in the new for you; in fact, He has already begun to do so!
As you read this, do you find yourself longing to step into a new era of your own? Ask the Holy Spirit to give you a picture of what that looks like and how you can position yourself for the change. Be encouraged that God promises a new beginning to those that abide in Him!

2 Corinthians 5:17 (NLT)
This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
