DAY 11 – Find My Friends!

If you plan on winning any kind of battle then you had better go onto the field with the right people!

I don’t know if you’ve ever thought about it, but living for Jesus isn’t like an individual sport. It’s a team game. We’re already on the winning team because we believe, but you need to have the right people around you to play the part you’re meant to play! In other words, who you chose to do life with matters! Who you choose as your close friends will really influence the decisions you make and the person you’re becoming.

Fact. Friends are a really big deal in life. We can probably all think of people who had heaps of potential to do something great, but ended up making really dumb decisions because of the people they hung around. On the other hand, there’s plenty of ordinary people who ended up doing amazing things because they were with the right people!

Jesus is the ultimate friend who will never leave you but God also wants to help you find and value people around you that will walk in victory with you! What do they look like? They look like people that are ‘hungry’ for God. People who are true. People who can help you while you’re also helping them.

Think about the people you’re doing life with. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you recognise the right ones to be close with and to build great relationships that will help both you and them walk in victory!
